There are resources out there for every single thing you desire to do, be and have, the only reason it hasn’t shown itself to you yet is because you haven’t DECIDED
In my early 20s, I was living in SoCal and working at a magazine. It was my dream during college to be a magazine editor, so I was loving life.
But there was this other thing I also wanted to do. It was nagging me day in and day out.
I love fashion, and back then I was super into jewelry and accessories. I couldn’t get enough. I also loved making jewelry, for myself and for people who saw what I made and wanted me to make them something too.
I’d been considering starting a handmade jewelry business, but I hadn’t pulled the trigger on it because I had no idea how to even get started.
So I sat on the idea and did nothing. Until a year or so later when I attended the Landmark Forum and the Advanced Course.
And what came to me during that time was: I wanted to start this jewelry business. I started telling everyone in my course that I was doing it. I even told some of my friends.
I had decided it was going to happen, and I didn’t have to know how. I just had to know I was doing it.
I just had to DECIDE.
A few days after I finished my Advanced Course, I went out to dinner with a friend. As we were leaving the restaurant my eye noticed a little newspaper-type pamphlet sitting on a rack near the exit. The headline said: San Diego Learning Annex (and we were in Orange County).
I had no idea what that was, but as nerd who loves to learn, I had to check it out. So I grabbed a copy and leafed through it on the ride home (I wasn’t driving!).
And what I saw in there nearly blew my mind… there was a workshop happening that next weekend, called: How To Launch A Handmade Jewelry Business.
I won’t get into everything I had to go through to get to said workshop (that’s a story for another day). But the point is, when I made the decision, the resource presented itself to me.
And notice that didn’t happen until I had decided.
Your decision is what shifts the energy and starts the Universe’s gears in motion to align you with the people, courses, coaches, resources, connections, ideas, etc. that will get you to your desired destination.
But first ya gotta decide.
