Deciding Is Always The First Step To The How Revealing Itself To You

There are resources out there for every single thing you desire to do, be, and have, the only reason the How for your dream hasn’t shown itself to you yet is because you haven’t DECIDED.

In my early 20s, I was living in SoCal and working at a magazine. It was my dream during college to be a magazine editor, so I was loving life.

But there was this other thing I also wanted to do. It was nagging me day in and day out.

I love fashion, and back then I was super into jewelry and accessories. I couldn’t get enough. I also loved making jewelry, for myself and for people who saw what I made and wanted me to make them something too.

I’d been considering starting a handmade jewelry business, but I hadn’t pulled the trigger on it because I had no idea how to even get started.

So I sat on the idea and did nothing. Until a year or so later when I attended the Landmark Forum and the Advanced Course.

You Have To Learn To Set The How Aside

Something I’ve gotten really good at over the years is being able to set the How aside when it comes to my dreams and desires and go for it anyhow. Sure, I have areas where it’s more challenging for me than in other areas, but overall, not knowing the How rarely stops me.

I’ve just always been a dreamer since I was a very young child, and I’ve always believed that I got to live my dreams (even if I have resistance to certain ones). One of the good things I was programmed with early on in life was to always follow my heart, and that has served me very well.

What If Not Knowing How Was No Longer An Obstacle?

You’ve been wrongly taught that you have to know How you’ll do something before you do it. Or that the How even matters to begin with.

Not knowing How then becomes a barrier that stops you, sabotages you and gets in the way of you doing the thing(s) you know you’re meant to be. 

But the truth is, you never, ever, ever, ever, ever… need to know How you’ll do something before you take the first step. No matter what it is you desire and dream of.

You Get To Have Every Damn Thing You Want In Life (And You Never Have To Know How)

The most beautiful, amazing flowers just showed up at my door from the most incredible, amazing human (my BF). He does things like this just because he wants to and feels like it.

He is more than a dream come true in so many, many ways. He is my reward for all of the inner work and mindset reprogramming I did around my worth and love and relationships, and what I get to have in a relationship and in another person.

I feel beyond blessed.
