Manifestation teacher Abraham-Hicks has a phrase she often uses: “ready to be ready.”
I never fully understood what that meant until now.
Ready to be ready, for me, means I’m always working on myself. I’m always moving closer and closer to who I desire to be.

I’m a recovering control freak.
I used to get SO caught up in the Hows of making my dreams and desires a reality.
And if I couldn’t clearly see HOW something was possible for me or How I could STEP BY STEP make it happen, I wouldn’t go for it.
I would stop myself or hold myself back from even admitting that I wanted it.
At times, I went so far as to make fun of those things—“what a ridiculous idea that is haha”—while secretly harboring a desire for it.
