Remember What It’s Always Been About For You And Use That As Your North Star Forever More

When I was 11 years old, I started writing short stories. When I was 13, I wrote a 120-page novella in three days.

Inspired by R.L. Stein’s Goosebumps, and Lurlene McDaniel’s One Last Wish book series, and all of the many, many books I’d read leading up to that point, I just decided to sit down and craft my own stories.

And then not long after that, I heard about a movie called “Message In A Bottle” that was about to debut in theatres (this was 1999 LOL). I knew it was based on a book and I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie.

My mom’s friend had a copy of the book and said I could borrow it when she was finished. In the meantime, she gave me another book by the same author to read. That book was The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks.

And reading it sparked something in me that day (no pun intended). A remembrance. A knowing. A certainty.

You Get To Have Every Damn Thing You Want In Life (And You Never Have To Know How)

The most beautiful, amazing flowers just showed up at my door from the most incredible, amazing human (my BF). He does things like this just because he wants to and feels like it.

He is more than a dream come true in so many, many ways. He is my reward for all of the inner work and mindset reprogramming I did around my worth and love and relationships, and what I get to have in a relationship and in another person.

I feel beyond blessed.

You Never Know How Close You Are To Receiving What You Want Until It Shows Up

Okay, so that headline is pretty obvious. Of course you never know how close you are to receiving what you desire or achieving what you dream of until the day it happens.

And the funny thing is, you could be SO CLOSE; it could be right there, ready to pop into your reality the next day, and you’ll still think it’s a million miles away just because you can’t physically see it.

That’s why you have to be clear on what you want, ask for it, take action on it and then TRUST. Trusting is always the hardest part because we’re taught that if we can’t see something with our physical senses; if we can’t see it, hear it, touch it, smell it or taste it… then it’s not real.

But that is A TOTAL LIE, AND it’s also the reason why most people never get what they really want.
